About Me
Helping You Move Forward
I have been a CEO in the not-for-profit sector for over 15 years, successfully chaired two Boards of Trustees and have coached and mentored many high-achieving individuals. In my career, I have managed significant organisational change and helped individuals and organisations realise their potential. I have previously worked in Education and Publishing, have helped charities and SMEs develop their businesses and worked with a wide range of individuals to help them achieve their goals.
My personal journey has taken many twists and turns. I have worked through loss and bereavement and know what it feels like to be at a crossroads, unsure which path to take. My experience and training have helped me to listen, empathise, understand and be non-judgemental. I use this experience to help others define their options and set realistic, achievable objectives.
I make a real connection with my clients. We’ll discuss what you can expect from working with me and how I support you throughout the coaching journey. I know what busy lives we lead and will ensure our sessions fit in with your commitments.

A personal story
Lost voice
I’ll share one of my stories. Many years ago, having been a confident public speaker, I attended an event to celebrate the achievements of a group of young scientists. I was due to make a speech and present the awards. I stood up, went to the lectern and stared blindly into the lights. I completely lost my nerve and was unable to speak. I feigned illness, apologised and escaped the stage.
I thought I would never get my mojo back or be able to speak in public again. I had completely lost my confidence. Fortunately, my visionary boss encouraged me to seek help from a coach, which I did! We worked on the source of my fears, my self-limiting beliefs and what was important to me in the context of my career. By working with a compassionate, non-judgemental professional, I was able to address my fears and understand what was holding me back. We came up with strategies and solutions, set new goals and, after a few sessions, I rediscovered my voice.
